Creating art is a spectrum of ideas and abilities spanning  open exploration and prefabrication. Approaching art in new ways can be exciting, but also intimidating. Some children may feel fulfilled by completing step by step art projects, and instructional kits.  Some may solely find their joy creating without restrictions of guidelines, or rules. All of these methods are art. Ultimately, the goal is not to change the art that is in our heARTs, but to experiment
and find new ways to express it.

Art stART Draw introduces basic art elements of lines shape and color in the form of a creative card game. It balances the freedom to make artistic choices with guidelines. With multiple ways to play, everyone can find a way to create.

stART the book demonstrates how lines and shapes are the basis of so many simple creations, but with the underlying message that it does not matter how you approach art.  

The Art stART CREATE & PLAY guide provides individual and collaborative enrichment ideas They can be used as an extension to the book stART, or standalone.

Art stART DRAW, the picture book stART, and the Art stART CREATE & PLAY enrichment guide are all aimed to  encourage creativity, imagination and exploration while incorporating, and introducing basic art concepts.
